On Sunday Phil continued the series On Purpose. In this message, he dealt with the powerful passage in the latter part of Ephesians 2. Here Paul describes the accomplishment of the cross in sociological language. Through the cross, groups of people that otherwise despised each other came together in unity. This was a remarkable achievement of Jesus’ death, and yet in our world today it would be easy to assume this victory has not fully been realized. How are we as Christians to live the reality which Jesus died to create?
